Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about FlowLogic's LiDAR scanning and AI-powered HVAC solutions
Getting Started
What is FlowLogic and what does it do?
FlowLogic is an iOS app that uses LiDAR and ARKit to scan spaces, automatically capture precise measurements, and generate AI-powered notes for installers, contractors, and homeowners. It simplifies documentation and eliminates manual measurement errors.
Which devices are compatible with FlowLogic?
FlowLogic works on iPhones and iPads equipped with LiDAR sensors (e.g., iPhone 12 Pro and later, iPad Pro models). Devices without LiDAR support cannot perform scans.
How do I download and install the app?
Search for "FlowLogic" on the Apple App Store, tap Download, and follow the on-screen setup instructions. After installing, create an account or log in to start scanning.
Is there a tutorial for first-time users?
Yes, FlowLogic provides an interactive "How-To" walkthrough during initial setup and a Help section with video demos and step-by-step guides accessible anytime in the app.
Scanning & Measurements
How accurate are the LiDAR scans?
LiDAR measurements are accurate within a few millimeters under normal conditions. Accuracy may vary based on lighting, surface reflectivity, and device stability.
Can FlowLogic scan any type of room or object?
Yes, it can scan residential and commercial spaces, HVAC units, ductwork, and most physical structures. Very small or reflective surfaces may require additional passes.
What formats can measurements and notes be exported in?
Users can export data as PDF reports, CSV files for spreadsheets, or directly share annotated images with measurements and AI notes.
Does it work outdoors as well as indoors?
Yes, FlowLogic works both indoors and outdoors, though extreme sunlight glare may reduce LiDAR accuracy. A quick calibration pass can improve results.
AI Notes & Reports
How does FlowLogic generate AI-powered notes?
After scanning, FlowLogic analyzes the space using its AI engine and provides structured notes such as recommended collar sizes, equipment placement, and install notes. These can be reviewed and edited before export.
Can I edit or add notes manually?
Absolutely. FlowLogic lets you add custom notes, tags, and images to scans. You can override AI suggestions and customize the final report as needed.
How is the AI trained for HVAC and construction-related contexts?
The AI uses industry-specific training data and best practices for HVAC, construction, and property measurements. It is continuously updated to provide relevant insights.
Are notes shareable with team members or clients?
Yes, reports can be shared via email, cloud links, or exported as files. You can also integrate with project management tools through future API updates.
Privacy & Security
What data does FlowLogic collect during scans?
FlowLogic collects spatial data and optional user-provided notes. No personal data is collected without consent. We never sell user data.
Is my data stored locally or on the cloud?
Scans are stored locally on your device by default. Users can enable secure cloud backup with encryption for cross-device syncing.
Who has access to my scan data?
Only you and authorized collaborators you choose. FlowLogic does not access your private data unless you explicitly share it.
How can I delete my data if I stop using the app?
You can delete all data directly from the app or request complete deletion via support. Deleted data is permanently removed from servers.
